All cabinets, doors, drawers, and finished (exposed) sides are shaker/craftsman style

- Stainless steel “Architect” pro-style Kitchen-Aid appliances, including cabinet depth built-in type refrigerator, 30” built-in, self-cleaning, double convection wall oven, 30” warming drawer with attachments, trash compactor, multi-cycle top of the line dishwasher with door top “out of sight” controls, 1.4 cubic ft. 1100 watt “built-in” microwave with stainless trim kit, pro-style, front burner control island cook top with downdraft system (Jenn-Air, or Kitchen-Aid, depending on availability).

- Extensive use of ceiling fans for air circulation, eg. kitchen, great room (multiple) each bedroom and third floor game room (multiple). Some locations are remote controlled, such as master bedroom (hand held).
- All three fireplaces are the very top of the line “Fireplace Extrordinair’s” manufactured by Travis Industries, and all are actually “heater rated” and draw in fresh outdoor air which is subsequently heated and forced into the home via adjustable blowers. The great room unit is a wood burning 44” unit; the other two are “direct vent” gas driven. All are given the highest grade for both efficiency, and environmental excellence, and actually have internal “catalytic burners” that emit almost no harmful emissions.
- All telephone and cable/satellite stations are wired using CAT 5 line and RG6 Coax cable to insure a high quality infrastructure for all satellite, cable, high-speed computer and other telecommunication needs.
- The elevator system includes four stops: the garage, first, second and third floors levels, and is hydraulically powered for the smoothest possible operation. The elevator car is large enough to accommodate a wheel chair making the home “disability friendly.”
- Built-in collapsible ceiling mounted stair mechanism makes it easy to access additional storage areas.
- Heavy timber posts, beams, and joists are utilized in all decking assemblies, providing increased stability, safety and “bulky” well made appearance. (Unlike many builders who utilize 2x__ lumber for deck joist, etc.)
- First floor bathroom will utilize slate rock flooring accents and vessel type vanity sink bowls, Grohe or like quality faucets, Kohler elongated toilet (used throughout the house) glass block stepped shower enclosure with open entry, recessed areas for soap, shampoo and other incidentals.
- All interior doors are custom made 1 3/4” (not 1 3/8”) standard knotty alder with shaker/craftsman style raised rails and stiles. Rubbed bronze Emtec hardware utilized throughout the home.
- Quality wall-to-wall carpet will adorn all bedrooms, the stairwell, 2nd floor hallway and the 3rd floor upper landing, as well as the library/sitting area.
- All cabinetry, other than that described in the kitchen will be knotty alder in a craftsman/shaker style. All areas underneath bathroom vanities (usually hard to reach, wasted space) will have roll-out drawers for added storage and convenience. All cabinets, drawers, and doors will be made with recessed “hand-pull” areas, and utilize the same high quality hinges, etc.
- The entire home is wired for, and will have recessed ceiling speakers with remote wall volume controls. These speakers are wired for multiple “master equipment stations” (e.g. great room, master bedroom, game room, etc.) Speakers will be slaves of any of the aforementioned “master equipment areas”, and are strategically placed on all rear decks, bedrooms, laundry room, garage, and of course, the “master equipment” areas themselves.
- The master bath includes a two-person corner spa tub and a dual control, double shower with remote steam unit and bench area. Marble, tumbled marble, ceramic tile, chrome vanity basins, high quality fixtures, hardwood trim accents, huge linen closet, separate enclosed water closet area, and oval beveled mirrors will provide the finishing touches.
- The master bedroom fireplace hearth, mantle, etc. will provide a linkage utilizing many of the marble and tile accents mentioned in the master bath. For some configuration, crown molding and wainscot is currently being formatted. (For other bedrooms also).
- The 2nd floor children’s/guest bath will utilize custom ceramic and porcelain type designs, and the same type quality fixtures, glass and mirrors.
- The laundry room will have slate flooring and counter tops, as well as a built-in ,fold-down ironing board, in-ceiling remote speaker, and “window with a view” which will hopefully make those daily chores a bit more enjoyable.
- All stairwells have custom floor-level “stair lights” that add safety and ambience to your trips up and down the flights of stairs.
- To the left of the stairwell, as you enter the lower floor (3rd) a “one-lite” etched door by the entry way to the quaint “wine cellar” area.
- The lower bedrooms will have mirrored, sliding closet doors, as well as some wainscot, trims and moldings.
- The lower bath attaches to one of the bedrooms, forming a “mini master suite”. Recessed lighting in the coffered ceiling provides the perfect lighting for that “before bed” reading (as in the main master bedroom).
- Just outside that bedroom is a library/sitting room/office (whatever you desire) that possesses magnificent views (as does the entire house) of the lake, valley, village and surrounding mountains.
- The “Game Room/Entertainment Room” includes a massive wet bar that incorporates custom cabinetry, a microwave, bar sink and under cabinet refrigerator/icemaker. The counter tops and upper bar have been planned to be custom formed and poured cement with color accents. Rarely seen here on the west coast the unique counter tops are very popular on the east coast and we feel they will doubtlessly move west over time. They are a perfect accent to our mountain environment and can be designed with an endless combination of colors and textures. We plan to provide continuity and bring the room together by utilizing this feature in the fireplace hearth and mantle assembly.
- The Game Room is big enough to house a pool table between the bar and the casual living area that surrounds the fireplace or can double as a second living room with yet another opportunity to gaze out at our beautiful mountain scenery.
- Below the house in the “build-up,” two fifty-gallon water heaters are built in a series and include a circulation pump that provides almost instant hot water to every faucet in the house. Additionally, two high efficiency/high capacity direct vent furnaces provide zonal heating to the entire house.
- The quality, strength and workmanship that are in the walls and below the floors are truly the “finish work” that should not be ignored. There you find many more of the reasons that differentiate our homes in the marketplace and play a huge roll in making a Unique Mountain Development home. Your real estate agent will know these features, however, should you have any questions please ask!
